A key attraction of the summit is the annual Pitch Competition, where life sciences companies will present innovations across categories including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and digital health. Winners will receive cash prizes and recognition, offering a platform for emerging entrepreneurs to showcase breakthrough technologies.
University of Utah’s Bruce Hunter emphasized the event’s importance in bridging research and commercialization. ‘By connecting academia, entrepreneurs, and investors, we accelerate the journey from discovery to real-world impact,’ Hunter stated. The summit is expected to attract over 400 participants, including entrepreneurs, investors, academic researchers, and industry professionals.
The event will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Salt Lake City, with a ski day at Snowbird Ski Resort following the main conference. Early-bird registration discounts are available through February 14, offering an opportunity for industry professionals to engage with the latest trends and networking possibilities in life sciences innovation.
