The current drill hole, QGQ24-21, revealed multiple occurrences of visible gold within a stockwork of quartz-carbonate-pyrite veins hosted in altered greenstone formations.
The drill hole, positioned at a 355° azimuth and -45° inclination, was strategically designed to intersect multiple vein directions and lithological contacts. After penetrating 257 meters of carbonaceous argillites, the drilling encountered gold-bearing greenstones, continuing the success of previous exploration efforts.
The mineralization discovered shares similarities with previous drill holes, particularly QGQ24-20, and is closely associated with shear zones at geological contact points. This consistency suggests a potentially extensive gold-bearing geological structure within the Halo zone.
