Wellpoint Maryland has been recognized with the first-ever Corporate Year of Service Award by the Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas (VOACC). Wellpoint has sponsored several community events with VOACC, including Operation Backpack. It is one of the first partners to be given this honor.

We consider Wellpoint, a part of our family,” said Nicolle Granger, VOACC Executive Program Director.
Granger and other VOACC representatives recently surprised Lori Hammond, Director of Marketing, and Lanise Thompson, Community Outreach Manager, with an office visit to present the award.
