Billboards, bus stops, and bus tails throughout Sacramento County spread messages of healing and hope, leveraging partnerships with local media outlets. The campaign has also partnered with Bloggin’ Mamas to mobilize bloggers and influencers nationwide to share its message.
On Thursday, April 4, 2024, ACE Resource Network will host an Instagram Live session with renowned psychologist and trauma specialist Dr. Edith Shiro on the @MyNumberStory account. Attendees can connect with Dr. Shiro, ask questions, and engage with the community. Copies of her book, The Unexpected Gift of Trauma: The Path to Posttraumatic Growth, will be given away during the event.
Later this month, an influencer video campaign will launch, featuring personal narratives and resources to inspire and educate on healing strategies. The campaign culminates on May 2nd with a ‘Coffee Con Conchas’ event at Vizcaya Sacramento, where attendees can experience stress-reducing activities and learn coping strategies to support healing from childhood adversity.
