Flash, the pioneering digital ecosystem connecting drivers to parking and EV charging, has added automotive and technology veteran Annette Clayton to its board of directors. Clayton, the former CEO and chairwoman of Schneider Electric, has decades of leadership experience transforming industries through innovative companies.

‘We are incredibly fortunate to welcome Annette to our board of directors,’ said Dan Sharplin, Flash’s CEO and Chairman. ‘Her talents and expertise will be invaluable to our next chapter of growth, particularly when it comes to meeting the needs of modern drivers through the next wave of EV adoption.’

Clayton led business strategy for Schneider Electric North America, overseeing 30,000 employees and over $11 billion in sales in 2022. ‘I have followed Flash’s evolution from its startup days and think the current moment is among its most exciting,’ said Clayton. ‘Flash has done the heavy lifting and is poised to bring all the players together to set the new standard for a first-of-its-kind digital ecosystem.’

In addition to her new role at Flash, Clayton serves on the boards of Duke Energy, NXP Semiconductors, Oshkosh Corporation and Nordson Corporation. She previously held senior roles at Dell, leading its global supply chain transformation, and at General Motors, including as president of Saturn Corporation. Clayton holds engineering degrees from Wright State University and the University of Dayton.

Flash’s platform connects reservable parking and charging through a cloud operating system, enabling seamless experiences for drivers. The company partners with customer-focused brands ‘to deliver digital, easy-to-use, reliable, and increasingly frictionless experiences to drivers.’
