Accelerate Resources Poised for Maiden Drilling at Prinsep Lithium Project

Accelerate Resources Ltd (ASX:AX8) is making rapid strides towards unlocking the lithium potential at its Prinsep Lithium Project in Western Australia. The company has successfully completed Heritage and Ethnographic surveys, spanning the 1.8-kilometre strike of both northern and southern lithium pegmatite trends at Prinsep, in collaboration with the Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation (NAC).

Luke Meter, CEO of Accelerate Resources, expressed gratitude to the NAC for their swift action in scheduling the heritage survey, underscoring the importance of their partnership as the project progresses. ‘The completion of these surveys is a crucial step towards commencing our maiden drilling program at Prinsep,’ Meter stated.

The Prinsep Lithium Project has already yielded promising rock chip assays, with lithium grades as high as 2.06%. With the heritage surveys now complete, the company is poised to begin drilling immediately upon receiving the necessary approvals from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.

Meter highlighted the rapid advancements in the project timeline, with the heritage surveys acting as a precursor to the drilling phase. ‘We are excited to move forward with our exploration and drilling plans over the surveyed areas,’ he said, emphasizing the company’s commitment to exploiting the lithium potential at Prinsep.

The Prinsep Lithium Project represents a significant opportunity for Accelerate Resources to capitalize on the growing demand for lithium, a critical component in the production of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
