Far East Gold Strikes High-Grade Gold and Extends Victory Vein at Woyla Project

Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG) has encountered high-grade gold mineralization in the first drill hole at the Aloe Rek prospect within its Woyla project in Indonesia. According to CEO Shane Menere, the high-grade gold encountered in this initial drill hole is ‘certainly encouraging’.

In addition to the promising results at Aloe Rek, field mapping across the Woyla tenure has revealed that the low-sulphidation epithermal gold vein system, known as the Victory Vein, extends to 18.5 kilometers, a substantial increase from the previously identified 13-kilometer strike length. Menere notes that this newly identified 5.5-kilometer extension of the Victory Vein represents an ‘exciting exploration opportunity that’s yet to be drill tested’.

The company’s exploration efforts at the Woyla project have yielded positive results, with the high-grade gold intersections at Aloe Rek and the extended strike length of the Victory Vein system. As reported by Proactive Investors, these developments highlight the potential for further discoveries and resource growth within the Woyla tenure.
