Hilltop Camper & RV Updates Service Scheduling Across Four Minnesota Locations

Hilltop Camper & RV, a family-owned RV dealership with four locations in Minnesota, has implemented internal adjustments to service scheduling and parts coordination across its Alexandria, Brainerd, Rochester, and Fridley (Twin Cities) facilities. The update, announced April 28, 2026, affects how RV service and parts are scheduled and routed between departments, particularly during seasonal maintenance periods when appointment volume increases.

The change applies to service intake processes linked to RV repair operations across the network. Service appointments are now distributed based on system type and technician availability across locations. The dealership operates 49 service bays across its Minnesota sites, allowing work to be allocated based on capacity and technician assignment. Service departments continue handling categories including electrical system diagnostics, RV water system maintenance and winterization, propane system inspection, roof inspections and leak detection, and slide-out and leveling system adjustments.

Hilltop Camper & RV continues RV sales across all four locations, with inventory including travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, toy haulers, and compact RVs. Selected units are moved into specials inventory based on incoming shipments and inventory balancing, including clearance and surplus units depending on availability.

The company operates as a multi-location RV dealership with facilities at 5701 MN-29 South in Alexandria, 7324 Novotny Road N in Brainerd, 1240 Lake Shady Ave S in Rochester, and 7810 University Ave NE in Fridley. Each location provides sales, service intake, and parts access, with the Brainerd location serving as a main contact point for scheduling and service inquiries. The structure allows RV dealers within the organization to coordinate inventory and service operations across all sites.

Hilltop Camper & RV maintains a centralized parts system, with the Fridley location serving as the primary parts inventory hub. The system includes OEM and special-order components for electrical systems, plumbing fittings, appliance replacement parts, structural repair hardware, and camping accessories. If parts are unavailable at one location, orders are processed through supplier channels serving all Minnesota branches. The Fridley location is noted as the largest RV parts store in Minnesota.

Certified RV technicians, including RVIA and RVDA-trained staff, continue handling diagnostics and repair services across all locations, with work assignments distributed based on skill set and system category. Warranty processing is managed through internal coordination with manufacturers to handle approvals and repair authorization requests.

Founded in 1951 in Hilltop, Minnesota, by Roy Pearo, Hilltop Camper & RV is approaching its 75-year milestone in 2026. The dealership received the Blue Ribbon Award from RV Business Magazine in 2025. The updated scheduling process aims to improve efficiency as the company continues its operations across Minnesota. More information is available at Hilltop Camper & RV.
