TEDxAtlanta, Georgia’s largest TED affiliate, has opened ticket sales for its 2026 conference, which will feature an expanded format and the inaugural TEDxAtlanta Youth event. The conferences are scheduled for Oct. 2–3, 2026, at Atlanta International School’s Sandy Springs campus, under the theme ‘Bold. Brave. Unbreakable.’
For the first time, TEDxAtlanta will host a dedicated youth conference, TEDxAtlanta Youth, designed for speakers ages 16 to 23. The event aims to elevate young voices and ideas, addressing a gap where young people are often discussed but rarely lead conversations about the future. ‘Some of the most important ideas about the future are coming from the generation that will live that future longest,’ said Jacqui Chew, TEDxAtlanta licensee. ‘TEDxAtlanta Youth creates a platform for young people to contribute their ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape the conversations that will define the decades ahead.’
TEDxAtlanta Youth will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 3, immediately following the mainstage program, allowing attendees to experience talks from both established leaders and emerging voices in a single day.
The 2026 conference also introduces Explore Sessions, designed to complement traditional TED-style talks with interactive workshops, guided conversations, and hands-on learning. These sessions aim to transform the conference from a passive viewing experience into an active participatory one. Formats include interactive workshops, a second stage for guided conversations, and the return of the Refresh Room for introspection and rejuvenation.
Since its founding in 2009, TEDxAtlanta has hosted more than 260 talks and performances, growing into a leading forum for innovation and dialogue in the Southeast.
