Affordable American Insurance (AAI) has appointed Salvatore Morello as Executive Vice President of Agency & Carrier Relations, the company announced Monday. Morello brings over two decades of property and casualty insurance experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Personal Insurance Field Sales Operations at Travelers Insurance.
At Travelers, Morello led national sales operations and field enablement across seven regions representing approximately $17 billion in direct written premium. He will now oversee AAI’s agency and carrier strategy, focusing on scaling operations, strengthening partner relationships, and driving profitable growth across the company’s network of independent agencies.
The hiring comes as AAI, a scaled insurance agency network platform, accelerates its nationwide expansion. The company, founded in 2005, supports independent property and casualty agencies with centralized operational, legal, and technology support, access to national carrier appointments, enhanced commission economics, and profit-sharing programs.
