Nevada Organic Phosphate Reports Strong Assays at Murdock Mountain, Reinforcing Geological Model

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) has reported additional positive assay results from drill hole MM26-9 at its wholly owned Murdock Mountain project in Elko County, Nevada, reinforcing the company’s geological model and highlighting the project’s potential as a significant phosphate resource.

Drill hole MM26-9 intersected the Upper Phosphate Zone with a weighted average grade of 10.73% P2O5 over a true thickness of 4.48 meters. The hole also returned 8.18% P2O5 over 1.0 meter in the Lower Phosphate Zone. These results support the continuity of phosphate mineralization across the target area, according to the company. Meanwhile, drill hole MM26-10 is nearing completion approximately 1.5 kilometers southwest in a previously untested area, which could further expand the known mineralization.

The latest results come after a weaker outcome from drill hole MM26-8, which the company views as a localized anomaly. Nevada Organic Phosphate emphasized that all analytical work was completed by ALS Laboratories under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, with rigorous quality assurance and quality control programs confirming the reliability of the reported assay data.

The Murdock Mountain project hosts an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed spanning 6.6 kilometers in northeast Nevada, with additional applications extending the potential strike to over 30 kilometers. The company believes this is the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. Its location near the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and close to a rail head to California, provides logistical advantages for future development.

Phosphate is a critical component in fertilizers and industrial applications, and domestic sources are increasingly valued amid supply chain uncertainties. The project’s high-grade intercepts and continuity could position Nevada Organic Phosphate as a key player in the North American phosphate market.
