BioElectronics Corporation (OTC: BIEL), a developer of medical technology products, announced Tuesday that it has leased an adjacent office suite at its Maryland headquarters, effectively doubling its facility space to support commercial activities involving ActiPatch and RecoveryRx. The expansion follows the execution of a Fulfillment Services and Distribution Control Agreement with Electrome Corporation, which is preparing to launch ActiPatch in newly designed packaging directly to consumers.
The new space will operate as a dedicated storage and fulfillment center, providing inventory receiving, order processing, packing, shipping coordination, and returns-management services. According to the company, the expanded capacity is designed to handle individual consumer orders generated through Electrome’s planned direct-to-consumer sales channel, as well as anticipated orders for RecoveryRx, BioElectronics’ FDA-cleared prescription medical device for postoperative and musculoskeletal pain.
“This expansion represents more than an increase in physical space,” said Kelly Whelan, President of BioElectronics Corporation. “It strengthens our commercial infrastructure, supports Electrome’s planned ActiPatch launch, and positions BioElectronics to efficiently fulfill anticipated increased RecoveryRx demand. It also creates an additional service-based revenue opportunity alongside product sales.”
Under the fulfillment agreement, BioElectronics will receive monthly storage fees, order-based pick-and-pack fees, and additional fees for returns, special projects, and non-standard activities. The arrangement includes a monthly minimum charge for pick-and-pack services, providing a predictable revenue stream.

ActiPatch is a drug-free pain-relief technology that uses pulsed shortwave therapy. Electrome commercializes FDA-cleared pulsed shortwave therapy through its PAINKILLER™ platform across multiple channels, including direct-to-consumer, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare providers. The company also has plans for big-box retail and an AI-enabled therapy-personalization platform.
BioElectronics’ management believes the expansion provides a scalable platform to support Electrome’s commercialization efforts while maintaining direct oversight of inventory handling, quality controls, and shipping operations. The additional capacity may also support future fulfillment requirements for other commercial partners and distribution channels.
The expanded facility includes dedicated onsite storage, packing and order-processing areas, outbound-order staging, shipping equipment, inventory segregation, and returns processing. This infrastructure is expected to be critical as Electrome ramps up its direct-to-consumer launch and as BioElectronics prepares for increased RecoveryRx demand.
