Licensed massage therapist Amy Owens has opened a new practice at Salon and Spa Galleria Oakmont Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas, offering personalized therapeutic massage services aimed at pain relief and relaxation. Owens, a U.S. Army veteran, brings six years of industry experience and a focus on tailoring treatments to individual client needs.
Owens, who trained at Lancaster School of Cosmetology & Therapeutic Body Work in Pennsylvania, has experience working with chiropractic clients to support recovery and enhance adjustments, as well as spa therapy. Her services encompass a range of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, pregnancy, and hot stone massage, along with ice globe and cold stone face massages, Himalayan hot stones, glide cupping, and aromatherapy. Pressure levels vary from light to firm to accommodate both relaxation and therapeutic goals.
“I went into this business to help others benefit from massage the way I have benefited from it,” Owens said in a statement. “My goal is to create a personalized experience that fosters both physical relief and overall well-being.” She emphasized collaboration with clients to identify effective treatments addressing specific concerns.
Owens is currently accepting clients by appointment only, with hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. To celebrate the opening, she is offering free targeted hot stones or targeted glide cupping services from August 1-7.
