Western Star Resources Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO₃ at Nevada Properties

Western Star Resources Inc. has announced certified laboratory assay results from its inaugural exploration programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada, revealing high-grade tungsten mineralization that exceeds historical grades. The results, reported on July 28, 2026, include a peak rock-chip assay of 4.02% WO₃ from the Rowland Main workings and 3.00% WO₃ from the White Star Batholith Mine, highlighting the district’s potential.

Blake Morgan, CEO and President of Western Star, stated, “Receiving results of this tenor, that exceed twice the reported historical grades, mark an exciting development at the Rowland and White Star Properties, and demonstrate the high-grade nature of the system in the district. With the geophysics complete across both properties and the assays now in hand, we are building the integrated Jarbidge-Charleston dataset we need to move confidently into drill target generation.”

The company’s sampling program at the Rowland Property targeted three zones of historical workings: Northern Zone A, Northern Zone B, and Rowland Main. At Rowland Main, 18 rock-chip, float, and channel samples returned results including 4.02%, 2.69%, 2.56%, 2.11%, and 1.25% WO₃, with coincident values of molybdenum up to 110.5 ppm, silver up to 6.82 g/t, copper up to 0.4%, and manganese up to 2.57%. Northern Zone B yielded three samples with grades from 0.35% to 1.22% WO₃, accompanied by silver up to 10.85 g/t, copper up to 0.8%, and molybdenum up to 119.5 ppm. A single sample from Northern Zone A returned 0.23% WO₃ with 3.06 g/t Ag and 41.1 ppm Mo.

At the White Star Project, initial rock-chip sampling returned two results: 3.00% WO₃ with 711 ppm Mo from sample WS-16-02, and 0.13% WO₃ from WS-16-01. The high-grade sample was collected from an area not previously known to be mineralized, indicating potential for undiscovered resources.

The company plans to integrate these assay results with completed UAV magnetic geophysical surveys and pending soil geochemistry to generate drill targets across the consolidated Jarbidge-Charleston tungsten footprint. Further soil sampling is ongoing, and additional updates are expected as results are received.

These developments come as Western Star Resources positions itself to participate in the growing need for secure domestic critical mineral supply.
