Meridian Holdings Names New CEO, CFO, and Independent Director to Drive Global Growth

Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN), an international developer and operator of online gaming and e-commerce platforms, announced a series of executive and board appointments on Wednesday, positioning the company for its next phase of global growth. The leadership changes, effective immediately, follow a board-led succession process aimed at strengthening operational leadership, financial stewardship, and independent oversight.

Zoran Milosevic, who has led Meridianbet for more than 18 years, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Holdings. He will continue to serve as CEO of Meridianbet, the company’s principal operating business and primary revenue driver. William Scott, who served as Interim CEO since late 2025, will transition to Chief Financial Officer while retaining his role as Chairman of the Board. Michael Prescott was appointed as an Independent Director and will serve on the Audit Committee, bringing extensive experience in global gaming regulation and public company governance.

The appointments come as Meridian Holdings seeks to build on its established platform across over 20 regulated markets. The company’s B2C division, led by Meridianbet Group, operates online sports betting and gaming in Europe, Africa, and South America, while its B2B division includes game developer Expanse Studios and iGaming platform GMAG. Other subsidiaries include RKings Competitions in the UK, MexPlay in Mexico, and Classics for a Cause in Australia.

William Scott, commenting on the changes, said: ‘Over the past seven months, we have worked to strengthen the operational and financial foundations of the Company and reinforce the balance sheet. This leadership structure change gives Zoran clear accountability for day-to-day execution while I focus on financial stewardship, capital allocation and Board leadership. Michael’s appointment adds valuable independent expertise and further strengthens our governance and audit oversight.’

Zoran Milosevic emphasized his focus on operational discipline: ‘Meridian has built a strong operating platform over many years. My priority is to build on that foundation, bring the same operating discipline that has driven Meridianbet’s performance to the broader Company group, strengthen our position across regulated markets and create long-term value for shareholders.’

Michael Prescott’s background includes serving as General Counsel at GTECH and IGT, as well as partnership roles at major international law firms. His expertise in cross-border M&A and international gaming regulation is expected to bolster the board’s governance capabilities. In connection with the changes, Rich Christensen, the company’s former CFO, will depart, and the board thanked him for his service.

The leadership restructuring follows Meridian Holdings’ second-quarter 2026 results, released separately, and reflects the company’s focus on disciplined execution and sustainable growth. The board believes the new structure enhances executive accountability and positions the company to execute its long-term strategic objectives. For more information, visit www.meridian-holdings.com.
