NeuroThera Labs Validates Quantum Sampling Workflow on S&P 500 Company Platform, Advancing Clinical Data Analytics

NeuroThera Labs Inc. (TSXV: NTLX), a clinical-stage biotech company, announced today that it has successfully completed internal validation of a proprietary quantum sampling workflow for clinical trials data analysis. The workflow was developed and evaluated using an S&P 500 company’s platform for hybrid quantum-classical computing, marking a significant step toward integrating quantum computing into healthcare analytics.

The validated workflow enables continuous probability distributions—common in clinical and biomedical datasets—to be represented and analyzed within a quantum computing framework. According to the company, many real-world challenges in healthcare, life sciences, and drug development are naturally represented as continuous probability distributions. The platform’s methodology converts these continuous datasets into quantum-operable energy landscape representations, allowing the application of Quantum Markov Chain Monte Carlo (QMCMC) techniques while preserving the statistical characteristics of the original data.

This hybrid quantum-classical architecture uses quantum dynamics to generate proposed samples, while a classical acceptance mechanism maintains the target probability distribution. The company believes this approach enables continuous datasets to be explored through quantum-generated proposals while upholding established statistical guarantees. The validation supports a key component of the platform’s computational architecture and is expected to expand its capabilities for addressing complex analytical challenges involving large-scale clinical and biomedical datasets.

The platform is being advanced through CliniQuantum, a quantum-focused technology initiative in which NeuroThera holds a 54.01% stake. The company views this validation as an important step toward enabling increasingly sophisticated quantum-enabled analytical capabilities as quantum computing technologies continue to evolve. NeuroThera believes that efficient representation of continuous data within quantum systems will play an increasingly important role in next-generation computational approaches for healthcare and life sciences.

While the company is optimistic about the potential of its quantum platform, it cautioned that quantum computing is an emerging and unproven technology. There is no assurance that any quantum advantage over classical methods will be achieved or that the technology will be commercially viable for the company’s use cases. The validation described in the announcement is preliminary, was conducted internally, and has not been peer-reviewed or independently verified. Additionally, the platform is a research and analytics tool, not a medical device or diagnostic, and has not been reviewed or approved by Health Canada, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or any other regulatory authority.

NeuroThera Labs is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapeutics for central nervous system disorders and other underserved health conditions. The company’s shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol NTLX. For more information, refer to the company’s continuous disclosure filings available on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca.
