PXG has introduced the PXG One & Done ZT Putter, a high-stability mallet designed to help golfers achieve a more consistent putting stroke by minimizing face rotation. The new putter, announced July 30, 2026, expands PXG’s Zero Torque (ZT) platform, which has been gaining traction in the golf industry as a way to simplify face control and improve start lines on the greens.
The One & Done ZT features a patented onset hosel configuration that aligns the shaft axis near the putter’s center of gravity, creating a toe-up balance point. This design reduces torque forces during the stroke, helping the face stay square to the path. According to PXG Design Engineer Matt Andrews, “This putter is designed to work with the golfer, not against them. By positioning the shaft axis just above the center of gravity, we significantly reduce the torque forces that cause the face to rotate during the stroke. The result is a putter that stays remarkably square to path and helps golfers produce a more repeatable roll.”
The putter’s construction includes a hollow 303 stainless steel body injected with PXG’s proprietary lightweight S COR polymer, which accounts for more than 50 percent of the internal volume. This allows engineers to reposition weight to the extreme perimeter for a higher moment of inertia (MOI), enhancing stability and vibration control. The ultra-thin face, measuring just 0.055 inches thick, is supported by the polymer and features PXG’s third-generation pyramid face milling pattern, designed to improve roll consistency and provide a responsive feel across the face.
Adjustable sole weights allow fitters to fine-tune head weight and bias to suit different stroke styles and player preferences.
