AtlantisChain Hits 1.1 Billion Blocks, Claiming World’s Fastest Blockchain Title

AtlantisChain, a Layer-0 public blockchain, has achieved a block height of over 1.1 billion within just 410 days of operation, according to a press release issued on July 31, 2026. This milestone, reached at 10:16 AM Pacific Time on July 30, 2026, cements its status as the world’s fastest blockchain in terms of block height, block time, finality, and transactions per second (TPS).

The announcement comes nearly eight months after AtlantisChain was recognized as the world’s fastest blockchain on November 27, 2025, a distinction covered by more than 400 media outlets across 51 countries. The latest data, captured in a screenshot, shows AtlantisChain’s block height at 1,100,000,014, compared to Solana’s 414,249,309, BNB Smart Chain’s 113,042,083, and Ethereum’s 25,646,777. Notably, these competing blockchains have been operational for several years, with Ethereum launching in 2015 and Solana in 2020, yet AtlantisChain has outpaced them all in less than 14 months.

This extraordinary speed is attributed to AtlantisChain’s ultra-fast block time of 0.031 seconds and a maximum capacity of 3,600,000 TPS. The network, which began operations in April 2025, has already surpassed the block heights of every existing blockchain, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, within its first 179 days of active operation. For instance, it took just 9 hours to surpass Bitcoin’s block height and 145 days to surpass Solana’s.

Beyond speed, AtlantisChain claims to be the most secure blockchain, built on a Proof of Light (PoL) algorithm and quantum-resistant technology. Unlike traditional PoW or PoS networks, which are vulnerable to quantum attacks, AtlantisChain ensures that all transactions are final and irreversible within 0.031 seconds, leaving no room for interference. This security is further enhanced by its QuantumLock anti-hacking system.

The network has also launched over 100 ATC-20 standard tokens, including stablecoins pegged to gold, silver, oil, the Chinese Yuan, the U.S. dollar, and the British Pound. These digital assets are designed to support global trade and provide diverse options for Web3 users. The launch of the CNY Coin (CNYC) marks the world’s first Chinese Yuan-indexed stablecoin, which will be integrated into the Atlantis Exchange Pro system.

AtlantisChain’s rapid ascent has not gone unnoticed. Several country authorities are reportedly considering joining the network to support their global trade efforts, signaling a shift toward digital economies at the governmental level. The blockchain’s U.S.-based development team, rooted in MIT, has built what they describe as a revolutionary architecture that could redefine blockchain technology.

With its sovereign time system, Atlantis Time (AT), and plans for space-based infrastructure, AtlantisChain is positioning itself as a pioneer in the Web3 space. The network’s achievements highlight its potential to transform financial services, public infrastructure, and global commerce. As it continues to pull ahead of competitors, AtlantisChain’s impact on the blockchain industry is undeniable, offering a glimpse into a future where high-speed, secure, and scalable blockchain solutions are the norm.
