The Drug-Free World Mobile Exhibit served as a centerpiece at Pasadena’s 30th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, drawing residents to Jefferson Park for an evening of community bonding and safety awareness.
The exhibit featured high-impact audio and visual displays, alongside free educational booklets from the Truth About Drugs series, covering substances such as alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, and synthetics. Visitors, including youth and community members, were invited to take the “Drug-Free Pledge,” committing to remain drug-free and to set a positive example for others.
The event, organized by the Pasadena Police Department with support from the Fire Department and community partners, offered a wide array of activities. Attendees enjoyed games, giveaways, resource booths, and the chance to explore fire engines up close. Helicopter pilots and first responders were on hand to meet the public, while mounted officers on horseback stole the show, eliciting excitement from children and adults alike.
