FG Brands, a self-care and wellness platform, has introduced a pioneering franchise model: a dual-concept beauty studio that houses two of its skincare brands, Bare&Sol™ (formerly LA Bikini) and Facial Collective®, under one roof. This first-to-market approach allows franchise owners to provide clients with a full spectrum of whole-body skincare treatments, from hair removal and airbrush tanning to facials and injectables, all in a single convenient location.
The co-location model is designed to capitalize on the complementary nature of the two brands. By keeping each brand operationally independent while sharing space, franchisees can achieve significant cost synergies in labor and operations, as well as boost revenue through cross-selling opportunities. Jan Zalud, CEO of FG Brands, emphasized that this unique combination “sets a new bar for excellence in the beauty and skincare marketplace by creating cross-functional business synergies.”
The first dual-concept studio is slated to open in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday, Aug. 21, with over 1,000 members already enrolled. The 1,950-square-foot facility, featuring 10 treatment rooms, is projected to generate more than $1.25 million in revenue in its first year, demonstrating the financial potential of this membership-driven model. The studio’s design reflects a modern, inviting aesthetic, moving away from the clinical feel of traditional spas to create a serene and welcoming environment.
Bare&Sol™ specializes in all-natural sugaring hair removal and UV-free airbrush spray tanning, while Facial Collective® offers high-performance facials, skincare products, and minimally invasive injectable treatments. Both brands operate on a membership basis, with rates starting at $49 per month, ensuring affordability and recurring revenue. This “boutique fitness for the skin” concept aims to make routine self-care accessible to a broader audience.
The launch of this dual-concept studio marks a significant milestone in the beauty franchise industry. By integrating two distinct services, FG Brands is not only enhancing the guest experience but also providing franchisees with a competitive edge. The co-location strategy is expected to drive exceptional revenue per square foot, a key metric for franchise success. As the first of its kind, this model could set a precedent for future multi-brand franchising in the beauty sector.
