FingerMotion Acquires 9.9% Stake in Lyken.AI, Pivots to Enterprise Computing

FingerMotion Inc. (NASDAQ: FNGR) has taken a strategic step into the enterprise computing sector by agreeing to acquire a 9.9% stake in Lyken AI Computing Inc., operating as Lyken.AI. The transaction, valued at $500,000 in FingerMotion common stock, is subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange on behalf of Alset AI Ventures (TSX.V: GPUS; OTCQB: GPUSF; FSE: 1R60), which currently holds the stake. No cash will change hands at closing, and Alset AI is expected to retain a 90.1% interest in Lyken.

This move signals FingerMotion’s intention to diversify beyond its core mobile payment and recharge platform in China. The company plans to build a comprehensive enterprise offering that includes GPU and cloud compute capacity, secure storage, private low-latency networking, and deployment support. This initiative will leverage Lyken’s previously disclosed ecosystem, which includes partnerships with NVIDIA, Dell Technologies Canada, and established data-center providers. FingerMotion sees this as the first step in a broader strategy to create a scalable, recurring-revenue enterprise compute business alongside its existing mobile operations.

According to the company, the enterprise compute market presents significant growth opportunities, driven by increasing demand for AI and high-performance computing. By entering this space, FingerMotion aims to position itself as a key player in providing infrastructure solutions. The company may seek to increase its participation in Lyken and its underlying infrastructure over time, subject to commercial performance, capital availability, and regulatory approvals.

FingerMotion’s core business remains its mobile payment and recharge platform in China, which continues to grow its user base. The company’s vision is to develop an ecosystem of highly engaged users and eventually serve over 1 billion users in the Chinese market. This new venture into enterprise computing could provide additional revenue streams and technological synergies.

The transaction is expected to close pending TSXV approval, and further details can be found in the full press release at https://ibn.fm/ByZLh. Investors can also access the latest news and updates on FingerMotion at https://ibn.fm/FNGR.
