As the Democratic Republic of the Congo grapples with the most rapidly expanding Ebola outbreak on record, GeoVax Labs, Inc. Any such effort would be pursued collaboratively while maintaining our operational and capital focus on GEO-MVA.”

Beyond GEO-MVA, GeoVax retains a portfolio of MVA-based hemorrhagic fever vaccine candidates with protective efficacy in animal models. The company is open to discussions about collaborations, licensing arrangements, and public-private partnerships that could provide resources for further development without diverting primary resources from GEO-MVA. This broader portfolio offers strategic optionality as emerging infectious disease threats continue to arise.

The company’s dual focus on advancing GEO-MVA and leveraging its MVA platform for other threats reflects a strategy to build a scalable and independent source of MVA vaccine supply.
