King Global Ventures Advances Arizona Exploration Amid U.S. Mining Workforce Push

As the U.S. government ramps up efforts to bolster domestic mining and critical mineral supply chains, King Global Ventures Inc. (CSE: KING) (OTCQB: KGLDF) (FSE: 5LM1) is pushing forward with exploration at its Black Canyon/Silver Cord project near Cleator, Arizona. The company is currently executing a 14,000-foot diamond drill program at the Iron Horse target, aiming to test priority geophysical anomalies for potential volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization within the Lower Spud Mountain Formation.

According to the company, drilling, geological work, and XRF interpretation have identified prospective volcanic stratigraphy, hydrothermal alteration, feeder-style geochemical responses, and multiple marker horizons. Wedge drilling from hole IH-26-03 is being used to further test the target at depth. These efforts come at a time when the federal government is placing greater emphasis on rebuilding domestic mining workforce capacity and securing supply chains for critical minerals.

King Global highlighted a White House announcement from Aug. 7, 2026, outlining $100 million for 14 U.S. mining schools as part of more than $2 billion in new mining and mining-related investments, along with more than $180 million in mining school and workforce funding. The company believes this policy backdrop could support domestic exploration companies targeting strategic minerals such as antimony, which is a key component in various defense and technology applications.

The company’s previous drilling at Silver Cord, completed in December 2025, intersected high-grade polymetallic veins containing silver, gold, lead, zinc, and antimony. One notable intersection returned 9 feet grading 619.6 g/t silver, 1.0 g/t gold, 0.6% lead, 1.05% zinc, and 375 g/t antimony. These results underscore the project’s potential to contribute to domestic supplies of critical and precious metals.

The Black Canyon Project, located in Yavapai County, Arizona, comprises 213 contiguous concessions covering approximately 4,000 acres, including 15 former operating mines such as the past-producing Howard Copper Mine. Situated about 100 kilometers north of Phoenix, the project represents an early-stage exploration opportunity targeting copper-gold-silver-zinc VMS mineralization. The region has a rich history of mining, including operations at Bagdad, Jerome, and Cleopatra.

King Global Ventures is focused on the exploration of precious and base metals in North America. In addition to the Black Canyon Project, the company holds the Mikwam Gold Property in northeastern Ontario, located along the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone. The Mikwam deposit is hosted within Timiskaming-aged polymictic conglomerate and greywacke units and contains disseminated and vein-hosted gold mineralization associated with quartz-carbonate veins and pyrite.
