innoscripta SE, a provider of a software platform for managing research and development (R&D) activities, announced on Tuesday a 43% increase in revenue for the first half of 2026, reaching EUR 63.1 million compared with the same period last year. The company’s adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 49% year-on-year to EUR 36.4 million, reflecting a margin of 57.7%. Unadjusted EBIT stood at EUR 35.9 million, after accounting for EUR 535 thousand in non-recurring costs related to corporate restructuring.
The company attributes its growth to continued demand for its Clusterix platform, which helps companies streamline R&D tax credit applications and digitize innovation processes. The number of customers using Clusterix surpassed 2,900 during the first half of the year, a key driver being the German government’s R&D tax allowance (Forschungszulage). This incentive encourages companies to invest in research, and innoscripta’s software simplifies the complex application process.
In the first half of 2026, innoscripta strengthened Clusterix as its central infrastructure for project structuring, data management, and application submissions. The enhancements enable automated data validation, improve data quality, and facilitate faster, more standardized processes. By establishing consistent workflows across different markets, Clusterix provides a technological foundation for the company’s international scaling efforts.
The company has been executing an aggressive expansion strategy. In Europe, it opened a new office in Hamburg, Germany, and its first location in France near Toulouse, where it has already secured customers. The UK market entry was marked by a new Manchester office, operational as of July 1, 2026. In the United States, innoscripta has begun serving its first clients in what it calls a “high-growth market.” The adaptability of Clusterix to varying regulatory requirements allows the company to enter new markets efficiently, according to the management board.
Looking ahead, innoscripta confirms its guidance for the full year 2026, projecting group revenue of at least EUR 140 million and EBIT of at least EUR 80 million. The company notes that these figures assume consistent timing in the submission and approval of customers’ R&D tax allowance applications.
The half-year report is available on the company’s website in the Investors section. innoscripta will also host a virtual earnings call on its H1 2026 results today at 3:00 p.m. CEST, with dial-in details available on the website under Investor Events.
innoscripta SE offers Clusterix, a scalable SaaS platform for managing R&D activities. Companies use it to efficiently manage innovation projects, digitize internal processes, and make their R&D transparent and scalable. The company’s international expansion and strong financial performance underscore the growing importance of R&D tax incentives and the need for efficient software solutions in this space.
