Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has announced a new angel story for her Angel Stories channel on YouTube, along with the release of the audiobook version of her bestselling novel, 20 Moon Road, An Angel’s Tale. The announcement comes as Sharpe continues to share real-life accounts of angelic encounters and expand her Mystic Bay series.
In the newly shared story, a woman named Judy recounts an encounter at an AA meeting where a stranger delivered a message about her sister, who was struggling with drug abuse. The stranger told Judy that her sister would be okay. It took thirty years for Judy to share the story, which Sharpe describes as “a story of intervention which is the greatest gift to give anyone suffering from drug abuse.” Sharpe added, “Intervention helped someone in my own family find strength and resolve.”
Sharpe emphasizes the importance of such stories, noting, “We meet these angels so many times not knowing they are real angels at the time until they have gone from sight. They help us grow with whispers of encouragement and hope.” This story is now available on her YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@jodysharpe6337.
In addition to the new story, Sharpe has released the audiobook version of 20 Moon Road, An Angel’s Tale, which is book 5 in the Mystic Bay Series. More audiobooks are expected to follow. The series has garnered praise from readers and reviewers alike, with one Amazon reviewer noting, “Just when I thought I couldn’t love the Mystic Bay series more, Jody released the most breathtaking installment yet!”
Sharpe is also actively seeking more real-life angel stories from the public. Submissions can be made through her website at https://jodysharpe.com. Not all stories are accepted, but those chosen may be featured on her YouTube channel and potentially in her next book.
Her latest book, New Angel In Town, is book 7 in the series and is based on stories she has collected over the years. The novel follows Guardian Angel Ron as he arrives in Mystic Bay to watch over Evan, a boy in foster care. The story explores themes of love, goodwill, and the impact of angelic presence. The book is available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Jody-Sharpe/author/B00DPL3382.
Sharpe’s work has been recognized with awards, including being a 1st Place Winner of the 2023 and 2024 National Association of Press Women’s Communications Contest Awards for Fiction. She was also chosen as a winner in the annual “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading” Book Awards.
Beyond her books, Sharpe shares angel stories on her website’s “Tuesdays With The Angels” section, and her YouTube channel brings together all these elements, including discussions on bullying, especially as it relates to special needs children. Her new screen treatments for ‘The Angel’s Daughter’ and ‘Town Of Angels Christmas’ are also now available.
Sharpe, a former special education teacher, began writing about angels as a healing process after losing her daughter and husband. Her mission is to tell stories with love, humor, and spiritual awakening, using the fictitious town of Mystic Bay as a backdrop to explore themes of life and memory.
