Storagely, a website platform designed for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a complete rebuild of its platform and the largest release in the company’s history. The new version will be publicly demonstrated at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show from September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233.
The self-storage industry has evolved since Storagely entered the market, and operators are now facing new challenges and constraints. Rather than simply adding more features, Storagely decided to rebuild its platform from the ground up to directly address the way operators run their businesses.
According to Austin Simmons, who became CEO in April 2026, operators have consistently voiced three key desires: to be more hands-on without being stuck behind support tickets, to launch new locations in days rather than weeks, and to differentiate each facility in its local market. “We stopped just adding features and decided it’s time to rebuild around those pain points,” Simmons said.
The rebuild introduces several major changes. More control comes through FLEX, a drag-and-drop editor that allows operators to edit any block, swap layouts, and publish new pages in minutes without needing a developer. ATLAS, the new Location Profile Manager, centralizes all location details—such as address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, and amenities—into a single source of truth that automatically updates the website. With ATLAS Google Profile sync, edits to a Google Business profile can directly update location details on the website. Together, these tools provide a faster alternative to support tickets and enable customization for each facility.
Faster launches are another benefit. New sites can launch in weeks instead of months, and new locations come online in days instead of weeks. This increased launch velocity allows operators to move at their own pace, stay agile, and make quick decisions.
Performance has also been improved. Storagely rebuilt 3.0.1 from the ground up specifically for self-storage, featuring modern architecture, faster load times on mobile and desktop, better page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. The platform still includes the newly imagined one-page checkout, now with upgrades like a merchandise shop and other upsell options.
Simmons, previously COO, led the rebuild in close partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to drive the platform. Simmons has worked with Storagely for nearly a decade across several iterations of the business. “For years I’ve watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today,” Leimone said. “3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he’s the right person to lead it.”
