Fairchild Gold Corp. (TSX-V: FAIR; OTCQB: FCHDF; Frankfurt: Y4Y) has announced the engagement of TerraEye to perform a property-wide satellite-based spectral mapping and structural interpretation program at its 100%-owned Golden Arrow Gold-Silver Project in Nye County, Nevada. The initiative is designed to evaluate mineralogical and alteration signatures across the entire property, with particular emphasis on underexplored areas beyond the known Gold Coin and Hidden Hill deposits and around historic mine workings.
The program will combine satellite spectral analysis, image enhancement, structural lineament interpretation, and AI-assisted pattern recognition. TerraEye’s results will be integrated with Fairchild’s existing geological, geochemical, geophysical, and historical datasets to refine exploration targets and identify priority areas for field follow-up. This approach is intended to leverage modern remote sensing technology to uncover potential mineralization that may have been overlooked in previous exploration efforts.
Golden Arrow currently hosts a NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate of approximately 295,000 ounces of gold and 4.36 million ounces of silver in the measured and indicated categories at Gold Coin and Hidden Hill, with additional inferred resources. More than 61,000 metres of historical drilling has been completed at the project, primarily concentrated around the two known deposits. By expanding exploration to the broader property, Fairchild aims to assess the full potential of the land package and prioritize targets for subsequent field investigation and drilling.
“We are excited to work with TerraEye to apply advanced satellite-based techniques to our Golden Arrow project,” said a company spokesperson. “This program will allow us to efficiently evaluate the entire property and identify new targets that could significantly enhance the project’s value.” The final technical report from the program is currently scheduled for late October 2026.
The decision to employ remote sensing technology reflects a broader trend in mineral exploration, where companies are increasingly using satellite imagery and AI to reduce costs and improve targeting efficiency. For Fairchild, this initiative is part of a strategy to build a significant Nevada-focused exploration and development platform, combining established resources with opportunities for major new discoveries.
Fairchild Gold Corp. is a Nevada-focused mineral exploration and development company with a portfolio of three complementary assets: Nevada Titan, Golden Arrow, and Carlin Queen. Nevada Titan is the company’s flagship high-impact copper-gold exploration project in the historic Goodsprings Mining District of southern Nevada. Golden Arrow provides an established open-pit gold-silver resource within the prolific Walker Lane mineral belt, while Carlin Queen offers additional gold-silver exploration exposure near the intersection of the Carlin and Midas-Hollister mineral trends.
