Spoonie Threads, a company that designs adaptive clothing for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, has been included in Buzzingley’s ranking of the best adaptive clothing brands for adults, the company said.
Buzzingley is an online publication that reviews and ranks consumer brands and products across categories including beauty, home goods, specialty foods and apparel.
According to the ranking, Buzzingley evaluated five adaptive clothing brands across six weighted criteria: medical and dexterity access coverage at 25 percent, style and fashion range at 20 percent, price and value at 15 percent, sizing and catalog breadth at 15 percent, fit support and personalization at 15 percent, and reviews and track record at 10 percent. Buzzingley placed Spoonie Threads first among the five brands evaluated, with an overall score of 4.6 out of 5.0, citing the brand’s coverage of medical access points and its fit consultant process, according to the ranking.
Spoonie Threads’ adult collection includes 114 styles organized by access point, including chest, abdominal, arm and leg access, and by condition, including ostomy support, diabetes care, feeding tube care and dialysis or infusion needs. Pricing for the collection ranges from $39 to $79.
“We designed each collection around the specific dressing challenges our customers described to us,” said a Spoonie Threads spokesperson. “Being included in this ranking reflects the work our team has put into that process.”
