Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has been named to the 2026 TSX30, an annual ranking of the top-performing companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange over a three-year period based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation. The company’s share price increased 570% during the three years ended June 30, 2026. The recognition places Trilogy among the elite performers on Canada’s primary exchange and underscores the market’s growing recognition of its asset base in northwestern Alaska.
President and CEO Tony Giardini said the recognition reflects investor confidence in Trilogy and the strategic importance of the Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain. The Arctic Project is part of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP), which Trilogy holds through a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC. Ambler Metals owns 100 percent of the UKMP. In December 2019, South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company, exercised its option to form a 50/50 joint venture with Trilogy Metals, solidifying a partnership aimed at advancing the district’s development.
The UKMP is located within the Ambler Mining District, described as one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world. It hosts polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits containing copper, zinc, lead, gold, and silver, as well as carbonate replacement deposits with high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization. Exploration has focused on two deposits: the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit, both within a land package spanning approximately 190,929 hectares.
The strategic significance of these resources extends beyond shareholder returns. As the United States seeks to secure domestic supplies of critical minerals—particularly copper and cobalt, which are essential for renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, and defense applications—the Ambler Mining District could play a pivotal role in reducing reliance on foreign sources. Trilogy Metals’ vision is to develop the district into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods.
To support that vision, Ambler Metals has an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation, providing a framework for exploration and potential development in cooperation with local communities. This collaborative approach may serve as a model for resource development that balances economic opportunity with environmental and cultural stewardship.
The TSX30 ranking is based on three-year dividend-adjusted share price performance, making Trilogy’s 570% increase a standout achievement. For investors, the recognition may bring increased visibility and credibility. For the broader market, it signals that critical mineral projects in stable jurisdictions are attracting significant capital.
