At IBC2026, BZBGEAR will present a fully operational camera-to-fiber broadcast chain, integrating four key components that are often demonstrated separately. The company aims to show how acquisition, production, encoding, and transport can work seamlessly together, addressing a common industry challenge. The exhibit will run continuously on Stand 11.A26 in Hall 11 at the RAI Amsterdam from September 11–14, 2026.
The chain begins with BZBGEAR’s ADAMO auto-tracking PTZ cameras, available in NDI|HX 3 and Dante AV-H versions. The 4K models, BG-ADAMO-4KND and BG-ADAMO-4KDA, output up to 4K@60Hz via HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, with 12X or 25X optical zoom. They feature AI-powered auto-tracking in Presenter and Zone modes, integrated tally lights, and onboard microSD recording up to 1TB. The HD models, BG-ADAMO-JRND and BG-ADAMO-JRDA, offer similar control and single-cable installation at 1080p@60Hz with various zoom options. This pairing allows for a 4K hero angle and HD coverage with unified control.
Production is handled by the BG-Commander-UltraX, an all-in-one 4K switcher and PTZ joystick controller with onboard recording. It includes four HDMI inputs, a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4D joystick, and a T-bar. Built-in chroma key, picture-in-picture, and logo overlay are supported, and a USB-C webcam output enables direct streaming. The unit records to USB or SD card without a PC and controls cameras via ONVIF 2.8 and VISCA over IP.
For encoding, the BG-STREAM-DE provides one-channel SDI/HDMI encoding, decoding, and recording. It supports H.265/H.264 up to 1080p@60Hz and outputs up to 3840x2160p@60Hz, with SDI and HDMI loop-through. Transport options include SRT, RTMP, HLS, RTSP, and TS over UDP, with NDI and Dante AV-H available via license. Audio embed/de-embed and USB 3.0 recording to MP4, TS, or MOV add flexibility.
Transport is managed by the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-F, a point-to-point fiber extender that carries 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 with DSC 1.2a, uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and visually lossless 4K@144Hz 4:4:4 over single-mode fiber up to 10 kilometers at zero-frame latency. It also supports RS-232, IR, CEC, 1G Ethernet, and USB KVM over the same fiber, eliminating ground loops and EMI.
Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, explained the rationale: “Every broadcaster we talk to is solving the same problem from four different directions at once — how to acquire it, how to cut it, how to get it on the network, and how to move it across a campus or a city. Showing one box at a time doesn’t answer that. So this year we’re bringing the whole chain to Hall 11 and running it end to end, and our engineers will be standing next to it for four days.”
This integrated approach is significant because it offers broadcasters a validated, interoperable solution that can simplify deployments and reduce integration risks. By demonstrating the entire chain, BZBGEAR addresses the growing demand for IP-based workflows that are reliable and efficient. For more information, visit bzbgear.com.
