Verizon has announced the availability of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with a new plan that allows customers to upgrade to a new iPhone every year without trading in their current device. The iPhone 18 Pro features a redesigned 48MP Fusion main camera with variable aperture and is powered by the A20 Pro chip, which Apple says delivers the greatest sustained performance in iPhone history. The iPhone 18 Pro Max offers the biggest jump in battery life in iPhone history. Both models support Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI, a completely new version of Siri launching in beta with iOS 27. Verizon’s new Simplicity Pro plan includes unlimited 5G Ultra Wideband data, 10GB of premium hotspot data, and standard roaming in Canada and Mexico, all for $80 per month after Auto Pay and switch discounts, plus taxes and fees. The plan eliminates activation and upgrade fees when customers enroll in Verizon Loyalty. The key differentiator is the annual upgrade option: customers can get the iPhone 18 Pro today without trading in a device and return it in good working condition to upgrade to a new model every year.
For those who prefer to trade in, Verizon offers up to $1,200 off a new iPhone with an eligible trade-in and a new line on an eligible myPlan, or up to $1,020 for existing line upgrades. Verizon also introduced the iPhone Duo, the first foldable iPhone, which opens to a 7.6-inch internal display and closes to a 5.4-inch external display. Preorders for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5 begin September 12 at 8 a.m. ET, with broad availability on September 18. Verizon Loyalty, available to all postpaid customers on any plan, provides 3% back in Verizon Dollars monthly, redeemable for devices, accessories, or multiplied at top brands.
