LAURION Reports Multiple Gold and Polymetallic Intercepts at Ishkoday Project, Expands Phase 1 Drilling

LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: LME | OTC: LMEFF | FSE: 5YD) has announced assay results from drill holes LBX26-106 and LBX26-107, part of its ongoing 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the 100%-owned Ishkoday Gold and Polymetallic Project in Northwestern Ontario. The results indicate multiple zones of gold and base metal mineralization, supporting the company’s systematic approach to advancing the project.

Drill hole LBX26-106 returned 3.75 metres grading 0.568 g/t gold, 12.40 g/t silver, 0.46% copper, and 1.75% zinc from 278.75 metres, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 0.50 metres at 1.730 g/t gold, 43.20 g/t silver, 1.51% copper, and 3.40% zinc. The hole also intersected 4.70 metres at 0.582 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, 0.07% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 172.50 metres, with an included 0.50-metre interval grading 3.220 g/t gold, 9.70 g/t silver, 0.30% copper, and 6.29% zinc. Drill hole LBX26-107 yielded 1.15 metres at 1.374 g/t gold, 10.10 g/t silver, 0.49% copper, and 2.01% zinc from 239.80 metres, and 2.90 metres at 0.608 g/t gold, 11.93 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 351.40 metres, including 0.80 metres at 1.975 g/t gold, 39.50 g/t silver, 1.45% copper, and 2.72% zinc.

The Phase 1 program is designed to test the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems at depth and along strike, tighten drill spacing, and evaluate priority geophysical targets. LBX26-106 tested the down-plunge continuation of the A-Zone, while LBX26-107 targeted the McLeod horizon and a chargeability anomaly from a 2015 survey. These results provide additional information on the geometry and potential extent of mineralization, which is critical for assessing continuity within the mineralized system.

LAURION has increased its planned Phase 1 drilling from 3,865 metres to 5,605 metres across 22 drill holes. This expansion follows an independent structural gap analysis by SRK Consulting that identified five priority target areas to address gaps in the existing drill database. The company is using this framework to prioritize near-term drilling as it advances the A-Zone toward a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).

The technical contents of the release were reviewed and approved by Dr. Trevor Boyd, Ph.D., P.Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Sampling and QA/QC protocols include industry-standard external standards, blanks, and duplicates, with all core samples processed by ALS Global. The company reports no contamination or bias in the QA/QC results.

LAURION’s strategy emphasizes disciplined, data-driven exploration and systematic technical advancement.
