Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) has completed its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element Project in British Columbia, the company announced. The campaign, conducted in July and August, covered priority areas across the approximately 2,984-hectare project and generated 250 samples, including 50 rock-chip samples, 50 soil samples, and 150 stream-sediment samples. All samples have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for analysis.
The shift from fieldwork to laboratory analysis marks a critical phase for the company as it seeks to determine whether previously identified rare-earth anomalies and geological observations warrant additional exploration. Assay results are expected after laboratory analysis and the company’s quality-control procedures are complete.
The Cameron project is part of a broader Powermax portfolio that spans Ontario and Wyoming, giving the company exposure to multiple North American rare earth element districts. In addition to Cameron, Powermax has advanced exploration at its Atikokan, Pinard, and Hopkins projects, broadening its pipeline of exploration targets during 2026.
