Apimeds Subsidiary MindWave Signs 12-Month Technology Services Agreement with AQUAE Holdings

Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US, Inc. (NYSE American: APUS) announced that its subsidiary, MindWave Innovations Inc., has entered into a 12-month technology services agreement with Singapore-based AQUAE Holdings Pte. Ltd. to deploy MindWave’s MindChain infrastructure as the foundation of AQUAEChain, a platform for insured ALCI Credits. The agreement positions MindWave as the core technology provider for a blockchain-based environmental asset system.

Under the terms, MindWave will design, develop, deploy and host AQUAEChain, which will manage the issuance, verification, tracking, transfer and retirement of ALCI Credits. MindWave will also provide ongoing technical support. In return, the company will receive contracted software development and technology service fees. Additionally, the agreement references an allocation to MindWave equal to 20% of total ALCI Credits issued and outstanding on the AQUAEChain network, calculated quarterly using the MindChain issuance ledger.

Following the initial 12-month term, the parties expect to move to a five-year continuing technology services arrangement, subject to mutual agreement and definitive documentation. The full press release can be viewed at https://ibn.fm/eZCn1.

The deal matters because it marks a concrete commercial deployment of MindChain, the enterprise blockchain ecosystem that Apimeds is developing through MindWave. MindWave’s MindChain ecosystem spans four verticals: InsurTech through BlockAssure, which is developing a Bermuda-framework platform applying Bitcoin reserves as regulatory capital to support life and property and casualty underwriting; ClimateTech through AQUAE and the ALCI index, which measures, verifies and tokenizes ecosystem services into institutional-grade assets; HealthTech through the Apitox development program; and RWA Tech through Nexus Global Partners, which brings institutional real estate on-chain within a compliance-first, insurance-enhanced framework.

For Apimeds, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing non-opioid, biologic-based therapies for pain management, the agreement represents a step toward diversifying revenue through technology services while its drug development programs continue. The announcement was distributed through TechMediaWire, a specialized communications platform focused on pioneering public and private companies driving the future of technology. TechMediaWire is one of more than 75 brands within the Dynamic Brand Portfolio at IBN, which delivers access to wire solutions via InvestorWire, article and editorial syndication to 5,000+ outlets, and other communications services.

For investors, the agreement highlights the potential for MindWave’s blockchain infrastructure to generate recurring technology fees and credit-based upside, while also signaling progress in Apimeds’ broader strategy to build institutional-grade platforms across insurance, climate, health and real estate. The expected transition to a five-year arrangement, if finalized, could provide longer-term visibility for the subsidiary’s technology services business.
