The Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship Committee has announced Daniel Landaeta as the recipient of its 2025–2026 scholarship award. The selection followed a competitive pool of highly qualified applicants and was based on three primary criteria: academic merit, community service, and financial need.
Daniel is a detail-oriented, hardworking, and ambitious student who is beginning his university career this semester as a freshman at the University of Florida. He plans to pursue mechanical engineering, with a long-term goal of working in the automotive industry alongside vehicle manufacturers to help advance efforts toward carbon-neutral transportation. More information about Daniel and his accomplishments can be found at https://www.drkezian.com/2026-scholarship-winner.
Receiving the scholarship brings Daniel one step closer to achieving his educational and professional ambitions. The financial support will allow him to place greater focus on his studies and volunteer work. Reflecting on the award, Daniel said, “I’m beyond thankful for this award, for it serves as ample encouragement for me to continue to dream big and achieve such big things. To know that someone like Dr. Kezian is in my corner and believes in what I can provide for the world after my foundational college years, it puts my mind at ease to focus all my efforts forward.”
The Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship will be offered again next year. Dr. Kezian hopes to continue receiving applications from motivated students pursuing educational goals in the sciences. Understanding the financial challenges associated with higher education, Dr. Kezian established the scholarship as a way to give back to the community and provide meaningful assistance to students pursuing careers in science. The scholarship is available to a high school or college student who demonstrates academic merit, community service, and financial need.
Dr. Kezian explained his motivation for creating the scholarship: “I have been a student majoring in science myself and know how competitive the field is. By presenting students with a scholarship opportunity, I can help them understand the importance of individual accomplishment when it comes to reaching their objectives, assist them financially, and teach them about the significance of higher education.”
Applications for the 2026–2027 Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship will open on November 1, 2026, and close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on May 31, 2027. Students who believe they may be eligible, as well as those who know a deserving candidate, are encouraged to review the requirements and prepare to apply. Additional information about eligibility requirements, the application process, frequently asked questions, and other scholarship details is available at https://www.drkezian.com/science-scholarship.
Dr. Kezian extends his appreciation to everyone who applied and wishes all applicants continued success as they pursue their educational and career goals. He encourages students to remain committed to their ambitions and to consider applying again in the future.
