Snow Tha Product to Receive 2026 HPRA President’s Award at ¡BRAVO! Awards

The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) announced that independent artist, entrepreneur and advocate Snow Tha Product will receive the 2026 HPRA President’s Award at the annual ¡BRAVO! Awards Gala on November 19 in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. The award recognizes a leader whose work has changed what is possible for the Latino community.

Born in San Jose, California, to Mexican parents, Snow Tha Product—Claudia Alexandra Madriz Meza—has built a career around bilingualism, cultural identity, technical skill and a refusal to be confined to a single sound or audience. A multi-platinum-selling, Latin GRAMMY-nominated rapper, singer and songwriter, she first gained recognition through independent releases before signing with Atlantic Records in 2012. After leaving the label in 2018, she returned to her independent roots and continued building on her own terms.

Her collaboration with Argentine producer Bizarrap, “BZRP Music Sessions #39,” earned a Latin GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song and generated hundreds of millions of views online. She also appeared on “Immigrants (We Get the Job Done)” from The Hamilton Mixtape alongside K’naan, Residente and Riz Ahmed, and expanded into acting with her role as Lil’ T on USA Network’s Queen of the South.

Today, Snow’s work extends beyond music. Through her Everydaydays/Everynightnights ecosystem, podcast, livestreams and social platforms, she has built a direct relationship with an international audience around conversations spanning culture, motherhood, entrepreneurship and everyday life. That independence has given her the freedom to speak openly about identity and issues affecting her community, bringing together music, advocacy and social commentary. Her 2025 album, Before I Crashout, and continued releases and performances throughout 2026 mark the latest chapter in an evolving career.

HPRA President Sonia V. Diaz said Snow’s voice is especially powerful because she is willing to use it not only to defend the Latino community but also to challenge it from within. “She reminds us that change, ultimately, requires all of our participation,” Diaz said. “Her voice creates space for others to find power in their own, to question what needs to change, and to speak up for the communities they want to see thrive.”

This year’s ¡BRAVO! theme, “Legacy in Motion,” honors those who built spaces for future Latino professionals in communications and those reshaping them for generations to come. The gala will take place for the first time in Los Angeles, where HPRA was founded 42 years ago. In 1984, a small group of Latino communications professionals came together because they understood that representation would not simply arrive with time.

“There is something deeply meaningful about honoring Snow in the city where HPRA began,” Diaz added. “Our founders understood that sometimes you have to build the space you were never given. Snow has done that in her own way.”

The HPRA President’s Award is selected annually by the HPRA President. Previous recipients include civil rights icon Dolores Huerta; Estuardo V. Rodriguez, Chair and CEO of Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino; filmmaker and producer Jessy Terrero; and DEI champion and industry giant Pat Ford. The recognition has historically honored individuals whose leadership, civic service or work in the arts has made an enduring contribution to Hispanic culture and representation. As reported by NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE, the award highlights how platform and purpose can converge to expand Latino representation.
