Debt.com’s 2026 FinTalk Awards Spotlight Spanish-Language Financial Education for U.S. Hispanics

Debt.com is set to announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards on October 9, 2026. The award recognizes digital creators who use their platforms to make financial education more accessible to the Hispanic community in the United States. Public voting remains open through October 9, and participants may cast up to three votes per day to support their favorite creators.

The five nominees for the 2026 Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator are María Mercedes Velasquez, Daniela Salazar, Alex / MoneyAcción, Elizabeth Inciarte, and Xavier Serbia. Velasquez, a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in finance, focuses on helping women over 40 take control of their money, invest, and work toward financial freedom. Salazar, known on social media as NeuroDany, is the author of two books about money and personal growth and provides education on investing, trading, and personal finance through digital platforms and workshops. Alex / MoneyAcción created the financial education platform MoneyAcción, using a simple and humorous approach to explain saving, investing, and debt management. Inciarte, a mother and content creator, aims to demonstrate that you don’t need to be a millionaire to start investing and building a stronger financial future. Serbia is a communicator with more than two decades of experience covering economic and financial topics, recognized for explaining complex concepts in a clear, practical, and accessible way for Hispanic audiences.

The FinTalk Awards were created by Debt.com to recognize creators and institutions that are transforming the way people learn about and manage their finances. The Spanish-language category focuses specifically on a community for which access to clear, relevant, and culturally accessible financial information can play an important role in making better financial decisions. “For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future. We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions,” said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com.

The FinTalk Awards have previously recognized prominent Hispanic financial educators. Rey Martínez was named Best Hispanic Creator in 2025, while Juan Sánchez received the honor in 2024. Voting closes on October 9, 2026, when Debt.com will announce the winner of the category. Consumers can still learn more about the five nominees and cast their votes by visiting the official Spanish-language 2026 FinTalk Awards page.

This initiative matters because it highlights the growing efforts to provide culturally and linguistically relevant financial education to U.S. Hispanics, a demographic that often faces barriers to trustworthy financial information. By honoring creators who simplify complex topics, Debt.com aims to empower the Hispanic community to make better financial decisions, ultimately contributing to greater financial stability and inclusion.
