Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum to Convene Banking and Insurance Leaders in San Juan

The Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum will hold its sixth edition on November 2 and 3, 2026, at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino in San Juan, bringing together executives, regulators, and specialists from Puerto Rico, the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean to discuss the changes redefining the financial industry.

The event will address high-impact topics for banking and insurance, including artificial intelligence, compliance, financial crime, fintech, correspondent banking, captive insurance, anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions, digital assets, and regulation. The agenda features prominent public and private sector figures, such as Mónica Rodríguez Villa, commissioner of Financial Institutions of Puerto Rico; Suzette Del Valle Lecároz, commissioner of Insurance of Puerto Rico; Zachary Kessler from the U.S. Department of the Treasury; Angelo Colombo, CEO of AIG for Latin America and the Caribbean; and Jeff Radke, CEO and co-founder of Accelerant. Investigative journalist Ignacio Gomez, known for his work on corruption and financial crimes, will also participate.

Beyond content sessions, the Forum aims to strengthen connections among leaders in banking, insurance, technology, law firms, consulting, compliance, and regulation, creating a space for exchanging ideas, business development, and new collaboration opportunities. This focus on networking and collaboration is crucial for an industry facing rapid technological and regulatory shifts.

“More than a conference, the Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum has established itself as a high-level space where decision-makers and industry leaders connect, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth,” said Hugo Cordova, president of the Puerto Rico International Insurers Association (PRIIA).

Eduardo Colón, president of the Puerto Rico International Banks Association (PRIBA), added, “The Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum continues to strengthen Puerto Rico’s position as a center for international banks and insurers, while creating a platform to discuss innovation, regulation, and the future of the financial industry.”

The event also offers visibility and networking opportunities for sponsors and organizations seeking to connect with a specialized financial sector audience.
