Green Choice Proteins, an Australian plant-based nutrition company preparing to expand into the United States, is drawing attention to a shift in how consumers approach plant-based eating. Rather than focusing solely on meat and dairy alternatives, a growing number of consumers are seeking convenient, protein-rich foods that fit into daily routines. The company says this evolution reflects the philosophy behind its Australian-made plant protein products, which are designed for people looking for practical ways to add plant-based nutrition to everyday meals.
Puneet Chawla, founder of Green Choice Proteins, said plant-based nutrition does not have to be an all-or-nothing lifestyle choice. He said consumers should have access to high-quality plant protein products that fit naturally into their lives, whether their focus is fitness, general wellness or simply making more thoughtful food choices. The company’s approach moves beyond traditional plant-based categories, positioning plant proteins as convenient ingredients for smoothies, breakfast foods, baking and other everyday meals.
Green Choice Proteins’ initial U.S. product lineup includes three plant-based protein powders. The Chocolate Flavored Protein Powder delivers 35.3 grams of plant protein per serving, is made with Australian-grown pea and faba proteins, features pure cocoa powder and coconut milk powder, contains omega-3 from linseed and has no artificial colours, flavours or fillers. The Vanilla Flavored Protein Powder provides 34.9 grams of plant protein per serving and is designed for smoothies, oats, baking and everyday nutrition routines. It uses Australian-grown plant proteins, includes omega-3 from linseed and offers a clean vanilla flavor profile without artificial additives. The Salted Caramel Flavored Protein Powder also contains 34.9 grams of plant protein per serving, combines caramel sweetness with balanced salted notes, is made using Australian-grown pea and faba and includes omega-3 from linseed with no artificial colours, flavours or fillers.
Chawla said taste and convenience are just as important as the nutritional profile. He said the goal is to create products people genuinely enjoy incorporating into their routines, making plant-based nutrition feel accessible and practical rather than complicated or restrictive. Manufactured in Victoria, Australia, Green Choice Proteins emphasizes ingredient transparency, responsible sourcing and clean-label formulations. The family-owned company uses Australian-grown pulses as a foundation for its products while incorporating other selected ingredients.
The company’s focus on everyday plant nutrition comes as it continues its U.S. expansion strategy. Following its participation in September’s ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Green Choice Proteins is preparing to introduce its products to American consumers through OneLavi and Amazon. The upcoming launches represent the initial stages of a broader strategy to establish its Australian-made plant nutrition products in the United States. The company believes growing interest in everyday plant-based nutrition creates opportunities for brands that can combine quality ingredients with enjoyable flavors and convenient formats.
