Los Angeles cosmetic dentist Dr. Arthur A. Kezian is re-launching his annual science scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year, continuing a program that has provided financial assistance to students pursuing science degrees. The scholarship, now in its 11th year, will award $1,200 to one eligible student to help cover educational expenses. Applications open on November 1, 2026, and the deadline to apply is March 31, 2027. The winner will be announced by September 2027.
The Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship is open to high school seniors through fourth-year undergraduates, aged 16 to 28, who are majoring in a field of science. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, community service, and financial need. The program aims to reward students who have demonstrated significant individual accomplishments and to support their pursuit of higher education. Earlier this year, the scholarship awarded $1,200 to a deserving candidate; details about that winner are available at https://www.drkezian.com/2026-scholarship-winner/.
In a statement, Dr. Kezian expressed pride in all applicants from the previous cycle, noting their hard work and dedication. “I’m so proud of all the applicants that applied to our scholarship,” he said. “All the students were hard working, dedicated, and deserving of the award; but, like many other programs, there had to be one winner. I want to thank each and every one of the applicants and applaud them for their achievements. I decided to start the scholarship again this year to give another student the chance to win. Rewarding students who have significant individual accomplishments can help them reach their objectives and strive for higher education.”

The scholarship’s continuation highlights the importance of private-sector support for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. With rising education costs, awards like this can make a meaningful difference for recipients. By opening the application to a broad range of students, from high school seniors to college undergraduates, the program encourages academic excellence and community service. As the application window approaches, eligible students are encouraged to prepare their materials and apply before the March 31, 2027, deadline.
