Hong Kong Twin Lighting Fairs to Spotlight Smart and Sustainable Innovations

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host the 28th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and the 11th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo in late October, bringing together some 3,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. The Autumn Lighting Fair will run from 27 to 30 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, while the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will take place from 26 to 29 October at AsiaWorld-Expo. Under the theme Beyond Illumination, the twin fairs will showcase innovative products and solutions that blend smart connectivity, healthy living, immersive spatial experiences and sustainability.

A key highlight of the Autumn Lighting Fair is the Hall of Connected Lighting, featuring about 70 leading global brands such as Signify, Casambi, TUYA and Inventronics. The zone will also host major industry alliances, including the Connectivity Standards Alliance, the DALI Alliance and the Zhaga Consortium, along with KNX, the global standard for smart building and home automation, making its debut at the fair. Signify will collaborate with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team to offer a racing simulator experience, demonstrating how innovative lighting extends motorsport excitement beyond the screen. Additionally, Philips Sky professional lighting solutions will be showcased, including VitaUp, which uses low-dose UVB light to support natural vitamin D production, and BioUp, which adjusts lighting to the body’s circadian rhythm for healthier indoor environments.

The Autumn Lighting Fair will also launch a new LED Display Solution Zone to foster a commercial LED display ecosystem, featuring LED video walls, transparent and flexible panels, and integrated display solutions. First-time exhibitor Ledman Hong Kong will present the QS Series IceScreen LED Display, deployed at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, and the LEDHUB Smart Conference Solution, winner of the 2025 TITAN Innovation Awards Gold Award. The Hall of Aurora will showcase some 500 renowned brands, while the Residential Lighting zone will display functional and decorative household products. Other zones include Commercial Lighting, LED Essentials, LED Lighting, and Testing, Certification & Inspection.

The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo at AsiaWorld-Expo will focus on smart city development with three thematic zones: Smart Pole and Solution, Landscape and Architectural Lighting, and Outdoor, Industrial and Technical Lighting. The expo will introduce photovoltaic and energy storage solutions, such as Lansine Intelligent’s LX-LC01 energy storage power station and foldable solar panel series, designed for off-grid applications and emergency backup power.
