Ladybug Resource Group Advances Feasibility Study on AI Infrastructure and Robotics Manufacturing

Ladybug Resource Group, Inc. (OTC: LBRG) is moving forward with a feasibility study to assess whether it should expand its precision manufacturing operations into components for AI infrastructure and robotics, the company announced in a detailed update. The study, first outlined in its September 30 strategic roadmap, is an evaluation, not a decision, and management cautioned that scope, timing, and outcomes are subject to change.

The company’s manufacturing is conducted through its subsidiary, Guangzhou Jingdiao Automotive Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which specializes in precision laser cutting, large-format CNC machining, Body-in-White integration, and a proprietary manufacturing execution system. Management’s priorities include diversifying revenue across end markets and geographies. The feasibility study will examine whether Jingdiao’s capabilities can meet the demanding requirements of AI data center infrastructure and robotics components, and whether new capacity would be needed beyond its automotive-focused operations.

Specifically, the study will evaluate market demand, customer qualification standards, and lead times; technical fit, including whether existing equipment and quality systems can meet required tolerances; capacity options, including regional economics in North America and Southeast Asia; trade, tariff, and export control considerations; capital requirements; digital integration through Jingdiao’s MES; and permitting and construction timelines. The study is in its early stages and is being supported by an independent advisory firm previously engaged for the company’s M&A program.

Management plans to complete the study and present findings to the Board of Directors by March 2027. Only if the Board decides to proceed would the company move to site selection and detailed planning. If the study does not support moving forward, the company may choose not to pursue these markets or add capacity. The company intends to provide an update once the Board has considered the findings and does not plan to comment on individual locations or counterparties during the evaluation.

The initiative is tied to capital planning. Ladybug has held preliminary, non-binding discussions with private investment firms about potential long-term financing. Any new manufacturing capacity or equipment would require capital, and the feasibility study’s outcome will inform how much, if any, the company may seek to raise. No financing has been agreed, and there is no assurance that any will be completed on favorable terms or at all.

Mr. Shicai Li, CEO of the manufacturing division, said, “At JingDiao, we have purposefully developed our roadmap with the full intention of responding to global market conditions and demands to create changes meaningful to our customers, investors, and shareholders.” The company’s website is Ladybug Resource Group Inc., and its stock quote is available at LBRG Stock Quote. This news matters because it signals a potential strategic pivot for a company traditionally focused on automotive manufacturing. If successful, the expansion could position Ladybug in the rapidly growing AI and robotics supply chain, but significant risks remain, including demand uncertainty, technical hurdles, trade restrictions, and the need for substantial capital. The study’s outcome, expected in 2027, will determine whether the company commits to a new chapter or remains focused on its existing automotive business.
