The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia opened today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together more than 3,200 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and MMI Asia Pte Ltd, the twin fairs run for four consecutive days and showcase innovations across consumer electronics, artificial intelligence, robotics, smart living, and advanced manufacturing. The debut of the Future Industries Zone marks a strategic push to develop Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology centre.
Sophia Chong, HKTDC Executive Director, said the Future Industries Zone reflects the HKTDC’s commitment to evolving its fairs alongside the industry and supporting the Hong Kong SAR Government’s policy direction. The zone, jointly organised by the HKTDC and the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association and supported by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, focuses on five themes: Future Computing, Future Manufacturing, Future Marine & Quantum Technologies, Future Microelectronics, and Future Wellness. More than 100 exhibitors are participating, with thematic forums featuring speakers from AWS, IBM, Lenovo, and HPE.
The fairs also feature an expanded RoboPark, displaying over 120 robots across commercial, industrial, entertainment, and healthcare applications. Exhibitors include AgiBot Innovation, UBTECH, DEEP Robotics, and Booster Robotics. In addition, the GoGlobal Connect Zone offers advisory services to help enterprises, particularly those from the Chinese Mainland, expand internationally through Hong Kong. As a member of the government-led GoGlobal Task Force, the HKTDC is leveraging the fair to reinforce Hong Kong’s role as a superconnector.
The Autumn Electronics Fair highlights three themes: AI & Robotics, Smart Wellness, and NEXTEntertainment. Products include a screen-free smart wristband, hearing aid glasses, and a rechargeable retro gaming console. The Hall of Fame features over 560 brands, while RISE Avenue hosts emerging brands such as Beijing Huahon Data Technology. The Startup Zone brings together more than 120 start-ups, with investment matching sessions and mentorship programmes. electronicAsia, held concurrently, covers electronic components, display technologies, and manufacturing services, creating a one-stop sourcing platform.
Buyers from 65 countries and regions are attending through 130 buying missions organised by the HKTDC. The fairs also include the 11th Symposium on Innovation & Technology and the Hong Kong Electronic Forum. Under the EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, online exhibitions run from 6 to 23 October via the Click2Match platform.
