SightLED, a Shenzhen-based LED display manufacturer, has announced the launch of its OTV Series MIP Outdoor LED Display, a new fine-pitch outdoor fixed installation LED display designed for high brightness, weather resistance, and long-term reliability. The series is available in pixel pitches of P0.9, P1.2, P1.5, P1.9, and P2.5, with brightness up to 4,500 nits and full IP66 protection.
The OTV Series uses MIP (Micro LED in Package) technology and a sealed aluminum frame, targeting outdoor fixed installations such as poolside and coastal environments, commercial buildings, stadiums, airports, and other demanding public spaces. The MIP outdoor LED module employs chip-level packaging for superior reliability and visual performance. Its sealed aluminum base provides exceptional heat dissipation, helping the display maintain stable operation in harsh conditions. With an IP66 rating, the module is fully protected against dust and heavy water jets, making it suitable for coastal, poolside, and high-humidity environments. The cabinet offers seamless flatness, ultra-thin wall mounting, and quick installation. Full front maintenance and a hub connection design support fast, simple, and secure servicing, while true dual access improves installation and maintenance efficiency, reducing labor time and operational disruption.
With up to 4,500 nits brightness, the OTV Series ensures clear outdoor visibility. It supports contrast ratios up to 16,000:1, depending on the model, and covers DCI-P3 90% color gamut with Rec.709 support. A 160° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angle delivers consistent visuals to large outdoor audiences. The series uses common cathode driver ICs for energy-efficient operation, with maximum power consumption of 675 W/sqm. It also supports receiving card redundancy and power redundancy for added reliability.
Key specifications include a cabinet size of 608 × 342 mm, module size of 152 × 342 mm, input voltage of 110–240V, working temperature from -30°C to +70°C, working humidity of 10–80% RH, and a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. The OTV Series is suitable for a wide range of applications, including commercial and hospitality venues such as building facades, restaurants, hotels, banks, retail stores, and parking lots; transportation and public venues such as stations, airports, gyms, stadiums, parks, and churches; and residential and coastal settings such as seaside swimming pools, luxury estate pools, terraces, and outdoor kitchens. The IP66-rated design resists splashes, chlorine, salt air, and harsh coastal conditions.
