VYRAX Core Combines Ab Roller and HIIT Trainer in One Portable System

VYRAX has introduced the VYRAX Core, a training device that combines an ab roller with a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) system. The company announced the product on October 13, 2026, and plans to launch it on Kickstarter later that month. The announcement matters because it addresses a common frustration in core training: the need for multiple pieces of equipment to perform different types of exercises. By integrating side supports that deploy and retract, the VYRAX Core allows users to switch between rolling movements and stationary cranking exercises in about three seconds, without a separate docking station.

At the heart of the design is a stainless-steel bar and supports, with a company-stated supported load of up to 650 pounds. The system operates in two modes. In Roller Mode, the wheels contact the floor and roll as the user turns the handles, enabling controlled back-and-forth movement and bear-crawl-style rolls. An included wheeled foot support helps prevent the knees and toes from dragging during lower-body movements. In Interval Mode, the deployed side supports hold the unit in place while the user cranks the handles, allowing for high-intensity efforts alternated with recovery periods, as well as movements like mountain climbers and push-ups. Pace, range of motion, and work-to-rest intervals can all be adjusted to match the user’s desired intensity.

The package includes the main unit—handlebar, wheels, and retractable legs—along with the foot support and an Allen wrench for assembly. VYRAX today unveiled VYRAX Core, a many-in-one training system that, at its core, seeks to make cranking-based exercise equipment easier to move and use without needing a separate docking station. By building the supports into the unit, VYRAX brings moving and stationary exercises together in one seamless flow: supports up for rolling, supports down for training in place.

The VYRAX Core is scheduled to debut on Kickstarter in October 2026, marking the team’s first campaign on the platform. The development schedule targets production in December 2026, with rewards shipping in February 2027. For those interested in learning more, the campaign page is available at Kickstarter campaign.

VYRAX describes itself as a sports and fitness research and development center dedicated to creating new exercise equipment. The team develops training solutions intended to make exercise more accessible in everyday settings while fusing cardio, endurance, and strength training plans to provide comprehensive, full-body workouts. The VYRAX Core represents that mission by offering a versatile tool that could appeal to home exercisers seeking to maximize limited space and time. If the product delivers on its promises, it could simplify core training and encourage more consistent workouts by reducing the friction of switching between exercises.
