AZIO AI Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AZIO) has unveiled Atlas One, a South Texas data center campus designed to address growing AI computing demand by developing dedicated, on-site power infrastructure. The project spans more than 548 acres and is engineered for up to 500 megawatts of planned behind-the-meter power capacity, according to the company’s announcement. The move underscores a growing trend among AI infrastructure firms to secure power generation assets directly, rather than relying solely on strained public grids.
The company reported that approximately 11 megawatts of natural gas generation and supporting electrical infrastructure are already secured, with about 6 megawatts activated for an initial Bitcoin mining workload. Atlas One is intended to connect Azio AI’s GPU hardware business with its planned hosting infrastructure. That integration complements a separate agreement to sell up to 512 NVIDIA HGX B300 GPU systems to Power Champion Investment Limited for an estimated $307 million. The combination of power generation and GPU sales positions AZIO as an integrated AI infrastructure provider.
AZIO has also committed approximately $2.4 million to an AT&T agreement for dedicated enterprise fiber connectivity, ensuring that the campus can support high-performance computing workloads with reliable network access. The power-first design of Atlas One reflects the reality that AI data centers require massive, continuous electricity supply—a constraint that has become a bottleneck for AI development globally. By building behind-the-meter generation, AZIO aims to bypass interconnection delays that often stall data center projects.
For investors, the launch of Atlas One signals AZIO’s transition from a GPU reseller and mining operator to a more vertically integrated infrastructure company. The company operates as an integrated AI infrastructure business encompassing AI data center development, the sale and distribution of enterprise GPU systems and server infrastructure, high-performance computing solutions, power hosting, and strategic technology investments. Serving enterprise and institutional customers across domestic and international markets, AZIO is positioning itself to capitalize on the rapidly expanding global demand for AI infrastructure, compute capacity, digital power, and next-generation AI technologies.
The project’s initial Bitcoin mining workload provides near-term revenue while the campus scales toward its 500-megawatt potential. However, the announcement did not specify a timeline for full build-out or the total capital expenditure required.
