Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) has completed its Phase One diamond drill program at the Coho Property in central British Columbia, marking the first time the Coho Zone itself has been drilled, the company announced. The program consisted of seven holes totalling 2,667.00 metres, testing an area of 1,000 by 800 metres and a vertical extent of 474 metres at the 8,000-hectare copper-gold porphyry target, located 90 kilometres north of Fort St. James and 30 kilometres west of the Mt. Milligan Cu-Au porphyry deposit.
The significance of the program lies in its targeting of previously untested anomalies. The Coho Zone hosts recently identified coincident induced polarization (IP) chargeability and resistivity anomalies associated with high-grade gold and copper values from surface rock grab samples. Trailbreaker also completed a concurrent IP survey of four east-west lines totalling fourteen line-kilometres, and used preliminary results to target a chargeability anomaly and interpreted structure with hole CH-26-07. Collar details for the program are available in Table 1, and a location map is shown in Figure 1.
Holes CH-26-01 and CH-26-02 targeted a sizable 400-by-800-metre IP coincident chargeability and resistivity high feature. CH-26-03 and CH-26-04 tested the Chinook showing, including historic channel samples grading 0.08 g/t Au and 0.29% Cu over 11.4 metres and 0.64 g/t Au and 0.36% Cu over 3.0 metres. Hole CH-26-05 was drilled in the King showing area, targeting a shallow chargeability high and a historic channel sample of 0.68 g/t Au and 2.83% Cu over 1.0 metre. A drill setup is pictured in Figure 2.
A total of 1,415 drill core samples, including standard reference material and blank samples placed at regular intervals, were submitted to Bureau Veritas’ lab in Vancouver, with assay results expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
At the Masu Zone along the western boundary of the Coho Property, Trailbreaker conducted a June 2026 surface exploration program targeting the potential eastward extension of the “A Zone” identified by Pacific Empire Minerals on its adjoining Trident Property. Drilling there returned 240.0 m of 0.64% Cu, 0.41 g/t Au, and 2.8 g/t silver (Ag). Results from Trailbreaker’s program are being compiled, and further property information is available in the company’s presentation.
At the Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern BC, Trailbreaker completed a six-hole, 1,684-metre drill program in early August 2026, as detailed in its August 10, 2026 news release. The program targeted the Highlands Zone, a high-grade vein-hosted gold target shown in Figure 3, and the Swan Zone, a Cu-Au-Ag-Mo porphyry target shown in Figure 4, spaced 26 kilometres apart. Assays remain pending.
Trailbreaker also contracted Eagle Mapping for a property-wide airborne LiDAR survey and Aurora Geosciences Ltd. for an independent NI 43-101 technical report to replace a 2022 report. “We are very pleased to have completed the Phase One drill program at Coho and look forward to receiving the assay results,” said President and CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt, adding that with assays expected soon from Highlands and Swan, the company is positioned for a steady flow of news through 2026 and early 2027.
