Hayasa Metals Lands Major Mining Partner and B2i Digital Spotlight as Armenian Copper-Gold Explorer Seeks US Investors

B2i Digital, Inc. has named Hayasa Metals Inc. (OTCQB: HAYAF | TSXV: HAY) as its newest Featured Company, a move that will introduce the Vancouver-based copper and gold explorer to B2i Digital’s network of retail and institutional market participants. The announcement, distributed via NEWMEDIAWIRE, highlights Hayasa’s exploration portfolio in Armenia and a newly signed term sheet with a major mining company that could accelerate development in the country’s south.

Hayasa has been exploring for copper and gold in Armenia since 2021. Its flagship Urasar project in northern Armenia covers a 15-kilometer mineralized corridor. Drill hole UDD-021 returned 39 meters of 0.50% copper and 0.18 grams per tonne gold from 11 meters, and two deeper holes totaling 1,070 meters have assays pending. In 2025, Franco-Nevada and EMX Royalty paid US$1 million for a 1.25% royalty on the project, signaling third-party confidence in the asset. The company also holds the 93-square-kilometer Vardenis project in central Armenia and is seeking a new partner there, while three additional exploration licenses are in application with approval expected in the first quarter of 2027.

The most significant near-term catalyst is a term sheet signed September 17, 2026, under which a major mining company will sole fund a two-year copper exploration alliance in southern Armenia. After spending US$1 million in the alliance area, the partner can earn 51% of any project by funding an additional US$1 million over two years, and 70% with a further US$3 million over three years, with Hayasa remaining as operator. A definitive agreement is expected before year-end. The partner is not named in the announcement.

B2i Digital CEO David Shapiro framed the timing as an opportunity to educate US investors about Armenia. “Most US investors have never looked at Armenia, and some, myself included, may have to pull out a map to find this critical country,” Shapiro said. “Copper, molybdenum, and gold are about 30% of what they export, and Hayasa has had a team on the ground there for 5 years. In September, a major mining company signed a term sheet to fund 2 years of copper exploration in the south. When a major is willing to pay the bills, we think it’s time for our investors to hear Hayasa’s story.”

Hayasa’s leadership team includes President and Chairman Dennis Moore, a geologist with more than 40 years of experience who discovered the 2-million-ounce Tocantinzinho gold mine and the Cuiú Cuiú gold deposit, and CEO Joel Sutherland, a CPA, CA, CFA who spent 20 years in capital markets, including 12 on Wall Street selling Canadian stocks to US institutions. The board includes Derek White, former President and CEO of KGHM International, and Randall Chatwin, Senior Vice President at B2Gold.

“The stream sediment and soil sampling in the alliance area is nearly done, ahead of schedule; assays from our deeper holes at Urasar are on the way, and three new licenses are in application,” Sutherland said. “We want US investors to know the name.”

For investors, the B2i Digital feature provides a platform to reach a broader audience. B2i Digital’s media network spans more than 1,200 news, broadcast, and trade outlets with a combined monthly audience exceeding 330 million, plus 1.7 million followers and 77,000 opt-in email subscribers. More information about Hayasa can be found at https://www.hayasametals.com.

The news matters because it pairs a junior explorer with a funded major-mining partnership and a marketing channel to US investors at a time when Armenia’s mineral exports—copper, molybdenum, and gold—account for roughly 30% of the country’s exports. With drill assays pending and new licenses in the pipeline, Hayasa is positioning itself for potential discovery, while B2i Digital aims to raise its profile among retail and institutional audiences.
