Saunders, a Level One Sommelier, brings a deep appreciation for wine that began on her family’s small farm, where she learned to make wine alongside her grandfather using muscadine grapes grown in their vineyard.
That early experience inspired a lasting interest in wine and a journey that led her to professional certification. “My love for wine has remained rooted in tradition, connection, and the stories shared over a wonderful meal,” Saunders said. Her approach reflects the restaurant’s commitment to making each visit feel personal, whether guests are celebrating a milestone, gathering with colleagues or enjoying an evening out in Waikīkī.
