Sentinel AI and Webull (NASDAQ: BULL) have launched a joint pilot program aimed at helping publicly traded companies engage retail investors through real-time sentiment analysis and targeted communications, according to an announcement distributed via TechMediaWire. The initiative pairs Sentinel AI’s technology for monitoring bullish and bearish narratives across social media and online news with Webull’s Corporate Connect Service, which gives companies verified pages inside the trading platform.
The program’s significance lies in the shifting composition of U.S. equity trading. Citing JPMorgan data, the announcement said retail investors accounted for as much as 36% of U.S. stock market trading in 2025, compared with a 10-year average of roughly 12%. That rise gives individual investors far greater influence over how corporate news is received and how stock narratives form, making direct engagement more consequential for investor relations teams.
Under the pilot, companies can identify emerging investor sentiment and work with their IR teams to develop approved responses delivered directly through Webull, which reports more than 29 million registered users worldwide. The intent is to place company messaging at the point where retail investors are trading and asking questions.
Sentinel AI founder and CEO Krishan Arora said the program aims to connect emerging market narratives with company responses delivered directly to investors at the point of trade. Webull Head of Capital Markets Michael Christoph said the collaboration will help companies address questions relevant to retail investors. Mark Roberts, managing partner at The Blueshirt Group, noted that real-time sentiment insights could improve the effectiveness of corporate messaging.
The pilot will initially involve a select group of public companies, with broader expansion planned after an evaluation of the initial results. The outcome could indicate whether sentiment-driven, platform-native communication becomes a standard part of corporate disclosure strategy, or remains a niche experiment.
Sentinel AI describes itself as a retail sentiment and narrative intelligence platform for public companies and their IR teams. The company says more than 200 public companies, representing over $250 billion in combined market capitalization, rely on its services, and that it is part of the Narravance ecosystem.
